The right lighting is one of the most impactful decisions in any kitchen design. We plan and install a full scheme as part of your project, layering task, ambient and accent lighting so the room works beautifully at every time of day. Wired into the design from day one, never added on at the end.

THE PRINCIPLE

Three layers, one calm room

Task

Focused, functional light directly over worktops, sinks and hobs, where you need it most for food prep and cooking. Under-cabinet LED is the single most practical upgrade we fit.

Ambient

Soft, general illumination that sets the mood. Ceiling recessed downlights, pendants, and indirect sources that fill the room without casting harsh shadows.

Accent

Decorative lighting that highlights architectural details, open shelving or glass cabinets. The layer that gives a kitchen depth and character after the sun goes down.

Six things as standard

Every lighting scheme is designed alongside your kitchen from day one, not added as an afterthought. Wiring, positions and fittings all work in harmony with your cabinetry and layout.

Task lighting

Focused light directly over worktops, sinks and hobs, where prep happens and shadow-free visibility matters.

Ambient lighting

Soft general illumination, ceiling recessed downlights, pendants and indirect sources that set the mood.

Accent & feature

Decorative lighting that highlights open shelving, glass cabinets or architectural features.

Under-cabinet LED

LED strip lighting fitted beneath wall units. Illuminates the worktop directly, creates a clean, premium look.

Plinth lighting

Low-level LED along the base of your units. A subtle effect that lifts the kitchen and makes it feel larger.

Smart & dimmable

Control by scene or schedule, from bright task lighting while cooking to warm ambient tones in the evening.
