The Shaker kitchen is the most enduring, most loved style of British kitchen, and for good reason. Restrained, rectilinear, beautifully proportioned. The five-piece flat-panel door is one of those rare designs that has not aged in two centuries.

At Victoria Kitchens, every Shaker we install is bespoke. Cabinets are made to order in solid timber and MDF by a British manufacturer we have worked with for over a decade. Doors are hand-painted in any Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or Paint & Paper Library colour. Dovetailed solid-oak drawers can be added.

How much does a Shaker kitchen cost?

Bespoke Shaker kitchens from our studio typically start at £20,000, including cabinetry, worktops, appliances (subject to specification). Every quote is itemised line by line, so you see exactly where your money goes.

Can I choose any paint colour?

Yes. Any Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or RAL code at no extra charge. Bring a sample tin to the showroom and we’ll make it happen.

How long does design and installation take?

Design usually takes three to four weeks, manufacturing six to eight, installation ten to fourteen days. A snagging visit follows after the first month of use.

Is Shaker right for a modern home?

Often, yes. The frame is honest enough to carry modern worktops, matt black taps and handleless drawers on the island. It reads traditional or contemporary depending on what you put next to it.

What's included in your guarantee?

Caledonia Kitchens provides a lifetime guarantee on all cabinets, hinges, and drawers. Additionally, we offer a 10-year guarantee on doors, drawer fronts, laminate worktops, and Kesseböhmer pull-outs. Appliances are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
